What We Do

We perform the standard notary public services offered by all Notaries Public in the State of Oregon, but, in addition, we are certified notary signing agents. This designation denotes special training in the proper execution of loan closing documents. We can assist both lenders and borrowers by expediting the execution loan documents at times and places convenient to the borrower. We travel to most places, including courthouses, offices, hospitals, homes, or even restaurants. We offer day, evening, and, with a 24-hour notice, week-end appointments. Prompt, courteous, and always professional, our service is exemplary!

Pricing

Loan Signings

The cost for assisting with the execution of documents for a loan closing is $50 plus a trip fee.

Standard Notarial Service

The cost of an appointment for standard notarial services $5.00 per signature.


Traveling Expences

We will be happy to discuss your notary needs and give you an estimate of the costs involved. Any charge for mileage is a private fee, not required by law, and is in addition to the statutory fee allowed for the notarization. All fees will be quoted in advance. (See coverage Map)

Oregon State Law Requirements

In Oregon, notaries can charge no more than $5.00 for most notarial acts performed. (OAR 160-100-0400) Taking an acknowledgement, verifying an oath or affirmation, certifying a copy of a document and witnessing a signature is only $5.00.

So how much can a notary public charge if there are three people wanting to have the notary witness their signatures on the same document? $15.00, $5.00 for each signature/person, or each act the notary performed. Even though the notary is using one certificate, the notary is identifying and witnessing three separate executions on the document.

When a notary administers an oath or affirmation without a signature, it is only $1.00. Also, a notary can charge no more than $1.00 per page for taking a deposition.
